About Our Company

Our founder, Dan, had been supervising new home construction projects for a national builder for five years. He then decided it was time to do it his way—with attention to detail and focus on correct techniques. Dan founded High Cotton Construction in 2008, but he has been building homes since 2000.

Our philosophy is simple—either we do it right, or we don’t do it at all.

Our team is honest and straightforward, and we sincerely want what’s best for our clients. We won’t try to sell you a service you don’t want or need. Our goal is to make sure you’re completely satisfied.

In addition, we bring our experience and extensive knowledge base to every project. We are highly familiar with building codes and construction techniques. When you choose us to help your home improvement project, you can be confident that it will be accomplished correctly and efficiently.

Our team is friendly and down-to-earth. We take the time to discuss project details with our clients, and we are always ready to answer any questions they may have. We do our best to be transparent in everything, from our pricing to our process.

We hold a South Carolina residential business license (#20006). Additionally, we are a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Lead-certified renovator.

We are a proud member of the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), the Charleston Association of Home Builders (CHBA), and the Charleston Builder’s Guild.

We are open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
